If you like everything about your nose except for the very tip, you may not need to undergo a full rhinoplasty procedure.
Tip rhinoplasty surgical details
A tip rhinoplasty is done under general anesthesia. It will either be performed as an open rhinoplasty (the incision is made on the outside of the nose) or a closed rhinoplasty (all incisions are made on the inside lining of the nose). Dr. Hessler will re-shapes or removes excess cartilage from the nasal tip, then refine or lift the tip. The nostrils may also be addressed.
